The American Youth Soccer Organization is a Non-Profit Corporation founded in 1964 to promote physical fitness, good sportsmanship, and self-esteem, in kids through their participation in soccer.  AYSO’s motto is “Everyone Plays”.  That means that every child that registers is assigned a team and every player on a team plays at least ¾ of every game in Region 588.  

Desert Hot Springs AYSO provides programs for ages 3 to 13 years.  Region 588 has been a part of this community for more than 30 years: training coaches, kids, and referees and providing Desert Hot Springs families with a safe environment for their children to have fun while they develop their skills.

While all coaches, referees and officers of the AYSO program are unpaid volunteers and player registration fees do not cover all expenses, we keep those fees low so that more kids can play, and we rely on the generosity of local sponsors to help make that possible.

Contributions from sponsors helps cover our general operating expenses like uniforms, balls, goals, nets, paint and trophies and awards for our kids.
